Austin, TX – Anchor Construction has officially broken ground on Parmer Commons, a new 19,400-square-foot retail development located at the high-traffic intersection of Parmer Lane and Harris Branch Parkway in Northeast Austin, Texas. The project is part of a growing commercial corridor supported by rapid residential expansion and major employer presence in the area.
Parmer Commons is a community-focused shopping center featuring 19,400 square feet of Class A retail space, along with pad sites ranging from 0.8 to 2 acres available for lease or sale. The site is zoned GR – Community Commercial and is designed to accommodate a range of essential retail and service-based tenants. The project is being developed by Malabar Hill Capital, with construction led by Anchor Construction, a Texas-based general contractor known for delivering high-quality commercial projects across the state. Leasing is managed by EDGE Realty Partners.

The site is positioned in Northeast Austin, SEC of Parmer & Harris Branch in Manor, Texas across from Texas Empowerment Academy, a K–12 magnet school that enrolls approximately 500 students. It is also located less than two miles from State Highway 130, offering direct access to major highways and surrounding communities. The hard-corner location ensures strong daily traffic counts and visibility.
Construction officially began in August 2025, with early sitework and infrastructure currently underway. Anchor Construction is mobilized on site and moving forward with delivery timelines.
