Anchor Construction was founded in 2016, but its roots go back much further. Long before the company took shape, Brock Bly was building skateboard ramps in his backyard, while Sonya Bly was learning the ins and outs of running a business alongside her family. Those early hands-on experiences, driven by values and fueled by grit, laid the foundation for what Anchor would become.

Built on a shared vision of doing things better, faster, and with purpose, Anchor has grown into a company known for its drive, high standards, and follow-through. Every project reflects the passion and determination of a team that doesn’t cut corners and doesn’t slow down.

He leads multiple companies with a can-do attitude and believes in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that meet the needs of clients and the community. For over four decades, the journey of Anchor Construction has been deeply intertwined with Brock Bly’s childhood passion for creation, with a vision of building a trusted, reputable company that continues to grow under his leadership. Team-building remains his most rewarding experience and he strives to ensure Anchor is always the best option for customers.

Sonya Bly, a University of Houston graduate with degrees in Management and Marketing, has been working in construction since 2009. She and her husband, Brock, co-founded and co-own Anchor Construction & Management
(2016) and Ayva Construction (2019). Sonya manages accounting, HR and process development, while Brock leads construction and field operations. Together, they've grown Anchor C&M to over $50 million, specializing in quick-serve restaurants and multi-family developments and are recognized as a top builder for innovative, cost-effective solutions. Balancing a successful career and family, Sonya’s leadership brings strong values and productivity to her work.

Her career has included various marketing and training roles throughout the Houston and Austin areas, where she has implemented comprehensive marketing campaigns and spearheaded local and statewide training initiatives. Crystal is an active member of the Association of Commercial Realtors, Associated Builders and Contractors, CREMM and is actively involved in ongoing community initiatives in Missouri City. She proudly volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Saving Our Companion Animals.
